Disneyland

This is the trip we took after earning our free 1 day passes to Disneyland. We actually took the kids out of school for a non-funeral trip. Never done that before. They are usually too sick and miss too many days of school to even consider it. I think the 4 days we were gone were the only 4 days the girls missed in the last quarter of school. That is huge progress for us. I have to say I might be hooked on going to Disneyland when everyone else is in school. 30 minutes into our day we had done Space Mountain twice and Buzz Lightyear 4 times. After that we rode the train over and did The Haunted Mansion and then Splash Mountain/Winnie the Pooh. Christopher really wanted to hug the characters. It was so cute. By the time we made it to Toon Town that night the parade was going on at Main Street and Chris got to walk in to see Mickey 2 or 3 times. I have never seen that line less that 90 minutes long. Between the free passes to Disneyland, the beach being free and staying at mom and dad's timeshare this was a pretty cheap trip. When we were in line to buy tickets for Gracie and Christopher (you had to be six to do the service thing) someone walked up and gave us multi-day passes that still had days left on them so everyone got in free!

Gracie, Chris and Paul. This hole was deeper than it looks.

Vanessa flying the kite.

Tigger started playing with Christopher while we were in line...splashing in a puddle, waving at him, ripping some leaves off a plant and throwing them at him. It was really cute.

Baby Jane in our car while we are loading to go home.

Christopher choose swords and telescopes as his souvenir. Vanessa and Hunter both got Mickey Mouse ear hats. Chris was so excited when we got home and I pulled out some older Mickey Mouse ears for him to play with.
