Hunter got braces on January 11, 2012. She is doing 2 phases of orthodontic treatment. I always wanted to wait until my kids were older and only do one phase, but she had some teeth coming it quite strangely and it was affecting chewing and going to eventually start to wear the wrong surfaces of the teeth. One of her teeth did not have room to come in so it came in behind where it was supposed to toward the roof of her mouth. The same tooth on the other side came in in front of all the other teeth. She even had to have two pulled to make room for them to move those into the right spot. She was so brave! It is amazing the difference we can already see after just 5 weeks of braces.
