How Embarrassing

Christopher has always had a shoe fetish. From the time he could walk he would slip on one shoe of anybody's because that was all he could balance well enough to do and then walk around. Of course he would leave it wherever he pleased so we were constantly finding single shoes all over the house. The first time he saw these boots that some friends handed down to us he had to put them on. Then he would not take them off. He went tromping all around the backyard in them that day.

You know how when you try shoes on a kid you push on their toes to see how close to the end they are? Well, Christopher likes to do that to himself...and others. One day at the mall he did it twice to men we do not know. Once was in the pediatrician's office (we were there for his 18 month well visit) and once was in the indoor mall playground. Luckily they were both dads who were nice about it and laughed it off when I explained to them he was checking to see how their shoes fit.
