Fall Break 2008 - Rocky Point!

We went with a huge group of families (about 20) mostly from our ward/neighborhood. It was so much fun! We camped at an RV campground right next to the beach. There were toilets and showers. There was an RV or two, quite and few tent trailers (we borrowed one from friends) and the brave tent campers. There were also some friends that stayed in some condos and came over to visit.

Vanessa and Hunter on the banana boat with friends.

Hunter sharing her sugar-free, dairy-free, egg-free cookies with friends. They liked them. Maybe they were just hungry from playing on the beach all day. We all loved the potato tacos the ladies came by selling at lunch time. We didn't have to leave the beach all day.

The kayak was so much fun. We borrowed it from the same friends as the tent trailer. Some friends, huh!?! Paul took Christopher out in it to fish a ton. The teenagers loved it. Even Tammy and some friends took it and went way out for a while to find some peace and quiet.

These dolphins came really close to shore at sunset.

Our campsite.

Saying goodbye to the beach.

Don't ya love how we are parked right under the No Parking sign...nice.

This is what the girls' hair looked like when the braids came out.
